Make your own Panel Skirt using hot glue!

This is a tutorial for making a panel skirt for burlesque. It shows two different options for the panel shape - half circle and straight panels (half circle requires much more fabric than straight panels). This is a great project for people without a sewing machine and pretty easy for beginners! Here are some notes:

Fabric (3 to 4.5m depending on sizing and style) that won’t fray

Stretch satin

Stretch mesh

Powermesh

Jersey Knit

Pre-made belt OR materials to build your own (see explanation video opening)

Felt sheets in color to match your elastic belt

Decorative trim that matches your elastic belt

Applique (fits nicely on belt band)

Sewing thread (any colour)

Sewing needle

Measuring tape
